Police nab two from Somerville for breaking, entering

Two Morgan Countians are under arrest after they allegedly broke into a vehicle, and one also faces drug charges. 

The Morgan County Sheriff’s Criminal Investigation Division obtained warrants on two individuals related to the breaking and entering of a vehicle. Deputies located and arrested Christopher Matthew Tennyson, 33, of Somerville at a residence in the 3400 block of Highway 67 in Somerville Feb. 4.  

During the arrest, officers said a quantity of narcotics was seen in the residence. 

The Morgan County Sheriff’s Drug Enforcement Unit was contacted and obtained a search warrant for the residence. The search produced synthetic narcotics and drug paraphernalia. 

Tennyson was arrested for one felony warrant for breaking and entering a vehicle, two warrants for failing to appear, one charge of possession of a controlled substance–synthetic narcotics and one charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. 

No bond was given for Tennyson. 

The following day, investigators returned to the residence and arrested Casey Suzanne Wilhoite, 35, of Somerville. Wilhoite was charged with breaking and entering a vehicle, with bond set at $2,500. 

Both were transported and booked in the Morgan County Jail.
