Lady Rebels race past Devils

MOULTON – A strong fourth-quarter surge propelled the West Morgan varsity girls to a 44-38 win at Lawrence County on Thursday night. The Lady Rebels outscored the home team 18-9 in the final period to erase a three-point deficit on their way to the win.

West Morgan overcame a poor shooting night at the charity stripe. The Lady Rebels were just 9-21 from the free throw line but tallied six field goals in the fourth quarter to balance out the scoring.

Brie Evans led her squad with 13 points while Bailey Parrish tallied 12.
