The Falkville Lady Blue Devils hosted an important game last week when they played their Autism awareness game. All proceeds from the game went to the Autism society of Alabama. Unfortunately for the Blue Devils, they were not able to come out on top over the Decatur Heritage Lady Eagles.

Decatur Heritage took a 2-0 lead over the Blue Devils into the fifth inning. An RBI double from Makenzie Veal that drove in Katelyn Widner cut the lead down to 2-1. However, Falkville eventually fell to the Eagles 2-1. Bailey Engle led the Blue Devils with two hits. Sydnee Fitzgerald took the loss. She allowed six hits and two runs with three strikeouts in six innings pitched.

Falkville 6, Cherokee 1:

The Falkville Lady Blue Devils came out on top over Cherokee thanks to six runs scored in the first three innings. Makenzie Veal led the team with a hit and two RBIs. Sydnee Fitzgerald got the win for the Blue Devils. She allowed just one hit and one run with seven strikeouts in three innings pitched.

Falkville 1, Decatur 2:

The Lady Blue Devils dropped a close game to the Decatur Lady Red Raiders. After trailing 2-0, Falkville cut the lead to 2-1 with a sacrifice ground out from Katelyn Widner that scored Fitzgerald. However, that wouldn’t be enough as Falkville fell to the Red Raiders 2-1. Kameryn Scales took the loss for Falkville as she gave up six hits and two runs with two strikeouts in four innings pitched.
