The Priceville Bulldogs advanced to the area championship thanks to a win over the Danville Hawks. The Bulldogs will face West Limestone for the championship. Head coach Darrell Haynes knows his team faces a tough challenge against the Wildcats. “Their a tough team. They’ve beat us twice already.” Haynes said. “The style they play is a tough one to face. It’ll be a low scoring affair, they play possession by possession.”

Danville took the lead early over Priceville behind five points from Carson Owens, but it was the only time they held the lead. The Bulldogs closed the quarter on a 7-0 run to take a 9-5 lead. The Bulldogs led 26-16 at halftime after two three-point shots from Dylan Cross.

Priceville took care of business in the second half and went on to win the game 55-45. Dylan Cross led the Bulldogs with 17 points while Aubrey Richardson and Brandon Speegle with 11. Kaleb Bolton and Cameron Orr each led the Hawks with 15 points.

Priceville also advanced to the sub-regional round with the win over Danville.
