Visitation for Bonnie Lou Dunaway, 76 of Valhermoso Springs, was Tues., Jan. 10, at Peck Funeral Home from 6 to 8 p.m Mrs. Dunaway died Sat., Jan. 7, 2017, at her residence. She was born August 26, 1940, in Morgan County to Cecil and Lucy Norman. She was a homemaker, a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother.  She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband, Gilbert Dunaway of Valhermoso Springs; two sons, Michael (Jo Beth) Dunaway of Gurley and Robert Dunaway of Eva; two daughters, Nancy Bracken of Hartselle and Jennifer Smith of Huntsville; a sister, Debbie White of Danville; nine grandchildren, Matthew Bibb, Collin Pillars, Katlin Gates, Corey Dunaway, Brooke Pillars, Truman Gates, Jessica Banks, Justin Dunaway and Ashley Smith’ two great-grandchildren, Aubree Gates and Paisely Gates.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
