Funeral for Wayne Humphries, 72, of Vinemont was Wed., Dec. 28, at 2 p.m. at Bethlehem West Baptist Church in Cullman County with the Revs. Shane Wheeler, Jerry Lake and Tim Aris officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial will be in Bethlehem West Cemetery.
Mr. Humphries died Sat., Dec. 24, 2016, at his residence.  He was
born Jan. 13, 1944, in Cullman County to Tolbert Lowell and Murlean
Montgomery Humphries.  As a dedicated Christian, he loved the Lord and loved his family and church family. He served as a deacon at Bethlehem West Baptist Church for 45 years. He taught the Young Adult Sunday school class for 30 years. Also, he sang in the group “Saved By Grace” from 1985-1995. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Raford Montgomery and Bobby Elmore.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Kelley Humphries; a son,
Tobey Humphries (Anna); two daughters, Kerri Aldridge (Greg) and
Mandy Hudson; a brother, Tony Elmore; and five grandchildren, Chandler Paige Aldridge, Chastin Jaide Aldridge, Conner Wayne Aldridge, Andrew Paul Hudson and Sarah Grace Hudson.
Pallbearers were Steve Freeman, Wayne Little, Steve Lake, Benton
Thompson, Steve Humphries and Keith Brown
