The 117th annual Hartselle Camp Meeting is just around the corner! We will kick things off at supper in the Waits Dining Hall at 5:30 PM on Sunday, June 12. Here are some important details for you to know –

DATES: Sunday-Friday, June 12-17

 

SERVICES: Two (2) daily at 10:30 AM and 7:00 PM (Tabernacle)

PROGRAM GUESTS: We have a tremendous line-up of speakers and leaders this year. Take a moment and check them out –

• Guest Speaker: Evangelist Junior Hill (Hartselle, AL)

• Evangelist: Phil Waldrep (Decatur, AL)

• Evangelist: Paul Lawler (Birmingham, AL)

• Missionaries: Brady & Alicia Searl (Uganda – World Gospel Missions)

• Music Leader: Ron Bean (Hartselle First United Methodist Church)

• Youth Director: Rob Cain (Tuscaloosa, AL)

• Boy’s Dorm Counselor: Hudson Cain (Tuscaloosa, AL)

• Girl’s Dorm Counselor: Anna Gills (Tuscaloosa, AL)

LODGING: Available for Youth & College students (Grades 6-College-aged) for the length of camp in the new Puckett Dormitory. There is room for 100 to lodge overnight, and a Meeting Room for 150 people (which houses aGame Area and this year’s Canteen). Cost is $175, and includes all 16 meals, accommodations, and camp program. Downloadable Registration Forms are located on the camp web site.

 

NEW FOR 2016: We will celebrate Evangelist Junior Hill’s 80th Birthday following the opening service of the Camp Meeting (Sunday night,June 12, at 7:00 PM). We will have ice cream and cake in the Waits Dining Hall. The public is invited!

 

CAMP WORK DAY: In preparation for the upcoming Camp Meeting, and to continue construction of the new Caretaker’s Cottage, there will be a Work Day THIS Saturday, June 11. The event will begin at 7:00 AM, and all are invited to help. The jobs will include –

• Cleaning & preparation of all buildings

• Putting out hymnals, cushions, and fans under the Tabernacle

• Foundation work (floor beams) on the Caretaker’s Cottage
