Funeral for Ruth Stidham, 87, of Falkville was Tues., Jan. 19, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Phillip Hines officiating.

Burial was in Hartselle Memory Gardens.

Mrs. Stidham died Sat., Jan. 16, 2016. She was born March 18, 1928, in Jefferson County to Bethel A. Watts and Lucille White Watts. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Jerry Watts.

She is survived by her husband, Charles B. Stidham of Falkville; two sons, Charles Alan Stidham (Om) and Daniel T. Stidham (Jackie), both of Falkville; two daughters, Diane Cobb (Wayne) of Clanton and Brenda Johnson (Jimmy) of Tuscaloosa; a brother, Bethel Watts (Rip) of Tallahassee, Fla., three sisters, Sue Archer of Gardendale, Zoe Ard of Griffin, Ga. and Debe Ard (Billy) of Raleigh, N.C; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

Pallbearers were grandsons.
