Funeral for Judy Darlene Muzzey Cook, 68, of Somerville, will be Wed. (today), Nov. 25, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bros. Gary Dobbs and Jim Smith officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial will be in Center Springs Cemetery.

Mrs. Cook died Sun., Nov. 22, 2015, at UAB Hospital in Birmingham. She was born Feb. 22, 1947, in Morgan County to Carl Sherrill Muzzey and Hilda Prue Stringer Muzzey. She was a member of Oak Forest Baptist Church and was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Dwight Muzzey.

She is survived by her husband, Johnny Cook of Somerville; three sons,Mark Taylor, Dean Taylor (Robin) and Paul Taylor, (Gretchen), all of Somerville; a daughter, Brandy Taylor Cartee (Rob) of Priceville; two brothers, Jeff Muzzey of Lacey’s Spring and Danny Paul Muzzey of Somerville; three sisters, Fay Treakle and Kay Sharp, both of Somerville and Nora Sue Manley of Athens; seven grandchildren. Kourtney, Joseph, Cord, Brooklyn, Aaron, Mason and McKinley; and a great-grandchild, Shelton.

Pallbearers will be Russell Sharp, Levert Blankenship, Steve Sharp, Carlton Sharp, Glenn Alexander, Greg Sharp and John Sharp.
