Funeral for Hilda Jones Ward, 84, of Hartselle was Mon., Dec. 15, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Charles Shaddix officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial was in Hartselle City Cemetery.

Mrs. Ward died Fri., Dec. 12, 2014. She was born Sept. 19, 1930, in Morgan County to Forrest Lee Jones and Eva Elizabeth Evans Jones. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bert Ward; and a son, David Ward. She was a long-time member of Hartselle First Baptist Church.

She is survived by a son, Patrick Ward (Jodi) of Birmingham; two daughters, Susan McDermott (Alan) of Talladega and Carol Greenhill (Richard) of Hartselle; and two grandchildren.

Pallbearers were family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Hartselle First Baptist Church.
