Hartselle couple faces drug charges

A Hartselle couple was arrested and charged with multiple drug-related crimes on March 19.

Following a raid at 417 Pearl Street in Hartselle, Morgan County Drug Task Force agents arrested and charged Jason Wayne Weeks, 34, and Tamra Dunn, 30, with unlawful possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. District Judge Shelly Waters set Weeks’ bond at $200,000 and Dunn’s at $100,000.

Sheriff Ana Franklin reported that Drug Task Force agents, along with Hartselle Police, returned to the Pearl Street residence after receiving complaints that Weeks was possibly selling meth again.

Agents raided the home on Feb. 26 and arrested Weeks and several others after meth was found. This time, agents learned that Dunn who had several outstanding warrants was there.

Agents made contact with both of them in the rear bedroom. They discovered several grams of meth along with syringes used for shooting up meth.
