Awards for the Depot Days Youth Art Contest will be given on Sat., Sept. 21, during the Depot Days festival.

Students in grades K-12 can enter drawings, paintings, paste, and mixed media in the contest. All artwork must contain a train.

Each student may enter one piece of artwork in each media category. Bring artwork to Slate Framing and Main Street Gallery through Friday from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m..

Entries will be displayed on the sidewalk near Slate Gallery and Framing Saturday. Ribbons will be awarded to the top three artists in each media and age group. Best in Show artwork may be used for the 2014 festival logo and T-shirt design. Entries must be picked up between 4 and 5 p.m. Saturday.
