Funeral for Betty Ruth McNutt, 76, of Hartselle was Sun., July 11, at 2 p.m. at Bell Springs Baptist Church with the Revs. Jerry Freeman and Jack Nelson officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Burial was in Bell Springs Cemetery.
Mrs. McNutt died Thur., July 8, 2010, at Cullman Regional Medical Center. She was born Feb. 7, 1934, in Morgan County to John Erskin Eason and Mary Frances Idella Phillips  Eason. She was a member of Bell Springs Baptist Church, a wonderful mother, grandmother and a good Christian lady. She was preceded in death by a brother, Roy Don Eason and a sister, Verna Marie Eason.
She is survived by two sons, Billy Jr. Downs of Hartselle and Michael D. McNutt and wife Jody of Somerville; three daughters, Ruthie Mae Stinson and Joy K. Stinson and husband Wayne, all of Hartselle and Connie C. Nipper and husband Randy of Priceville; a sister, Donna Jean Collum of Falkville; 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews
Pallbearers were nephews and grandsons.
