Danville finishes area play with wins over Colbert County, Colbert Heights

Danville 64, Colbert Heights 41
The Hawks finished area play with a 64-41 win over Colbert Heights to improve to 5-1 in the area. AJ Holladay led Danville with a game-high 21 points. Huntley Segars added 12 points, while Ben Ellenbeurg had 10.

Danville 60, Colbert County 26
Danville (14-6) exacted some revenge over Colbert County in their 60-26 win last Tuesday. The Hawks’ only blemish in area play came earlier in the season on the road at Colbert County.

Holladay finished with a game-high 29 points to lead the Hawks. Ty Bailey added 10 points, while Ki Boyd had eight points.

Danville 41, Colbert Heights 34

The Lady Hawks closed area play last Thursday with a 41-34 win over Colbert Heights to finish 4-2 in the area. Adily Alberti finished with 17 points and eight rebounds to lead Danville. Madalyn McCreless and Reagan Prater each had eight points.

Danville 53, Colbert County 47
Danville picked up a 53-47 area win over Colbert County last Tuesday. Alberti finished with 14 points, five steals and five rebounds to lead the Lady Hawks. Reagan Prater added 10 points, while Madalyn McCreless had seven points.
