COURTLAND – The West Morgan varsity girls outscored R.A. Hubbard 15-9 in the final period to earn a narrow 43-42 win on Monday night.

The game was tight the entire night, neither team able to gain much of an offensive advantage in the opening half. West Morgan held a 21-20 halftime lead before falling behind in the third quarter by as many as five points. However, the Lady Rebels saved their best for last and dropped 15 points in the final stanza to earn the win.

The combination of Brie Evans and Bailey Parrish paced the Lady Rebels in a defensive battle. The tandem tallied 13 points each to lead the way.
