Rebels fall to R.A. Hubbard in high-scoring affair
COURTLAND – In an entertaining, high-scoring contest on Monday night, the West Morgan varsity boys dropped an 83-67 decision to Class 1A No. 8 R.A. Hubbard.
The Rebels shot 33 percent from three but were just 8-17 from the free throw line. The struggles from the charity stripe have plagued West Morgan in recent weeks.
Ashton Owens had another strong outing scoring a game-high 30 points in the loss. His teammate Jauquez Chairs also poured in 24 points as the duo combined for 54 of their club’s 67 total points.
