Phillips, Maxwell to Wed

Mr. and Mrs. Allen Phillips of Luverne are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Lacey Nicole Phillips to Benjamin Perry Maxwell, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Maxwell, Jr. of Eva.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Alcus Phillips of Andalusia and the late Mr. and Mrs. Waylon Lacey of Cedar Springs, Ga. and Mrs. Bobby Woodward of Troy.

Miss Phillips graduated from Crenshaw Christian Academy and then earned a degree in History from Troy University where she was a member of Phi Mu sorority. She is currently the Executive Assistant at Beachy Beach Real Estate in Panama City Beach, Fla. She also serves on the board of directors for a local charity, Beach Care Services.

The prospective groom is the grandson of John Maxwell, Sr. and the late Mrs. Lynda Maxwell of Somerville and the late Mr. William Treadway of Priceville.

Mr. Maxwell graduated from Albert P. Brewer High School and from Troy University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Science. He was a member of Alpha Tau Omega fraternity. He is currently a licensed public adjuster with the Noble Public Adjusting Group in Panama City Beach, Fla.

Lacey and Benjamin both volunteer their time and money to various charities including Beach Care Services, Food4Kidz, the Humane Society of Bay County, Seaside School and Holt International.

The couple will exchange vows on November 4, 2017 in Panama City Beach, Fla.
