Funeral for Pauline Callahan Maples, 85, of Hartselle will be Sun., Aug. 21, at 1:30 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ralph Henderson officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial will be in New Center Cemetery. Visitation will be Sat., Aug. 20, 2016, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Maples died Fri., Aug. 19, 2016, at Cullman Regional Medical Center. She was born June 4, 1931, in Morgan County to James Albert Callahan and Ella Lee Owens Callahan. Mrs. Maples was a member of New Center Baptist Church. She loved to quilt and garden and loved canning the vegetables from her garden. She was loved and will be missed by all. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Maples; a son, Mark Maples; and her parents.

She is survived by a daughter, Teresa Champion of Falkville; two grandchildren, Anthony Maples (Jodie Barnett) and Brandon Maples; brother-in-law, Kenneth Eddy; close friends, Glenda Dunaway and Robert Johnson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Daniel Ogle, Austin Wakefield, John Ryan, Shane McCormick, Jimmy Shadden and Rodney Eddy.
