BASEBALL: Danville 5, Falkville 2

Carson Owens allowed just one run on seven hits and a walk to earn the win over Falkville March 7. He struck out four batters in four innings.

Weston Krohe pitched the final three innings, allowing one run on one hit and one walks with three strikeouts.

Austin Clemons, Landon Tidwell and Charles Holder had two hits apiece while James Parker, Owens and Jackson Locklear added hits.

Dallas Mayer took the loss for Falkville, allowing four earned runs on eight hits and one walk with two strikeouts in four innings of work. Andy Dove allowed one run on one hit with one walk and two strikeouts in two innings.

Colin Eason paced Falkville with a 3-for-3 effort with one RBI. Tyler Woodall was 2-for-3 while Ryan Bradford, Andy Dove and Nic Martin added hits.
