Funeral for Billy R. Brinkley, 74, of Hartselle will be Sat., Feb. 28, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Charles Shaddix officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial will be in Shoal Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be Fri., Feb. 27, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Brinkley died Tues., Feb. 24, 2015, at Huntsville Hospital. He was born July 8, 1940, in Morgan County to Arthur “Bill” Brinkley and Myrtle Roberts Brinkley. He was retired from EFP South Corporation. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and a sister.

He is survived by his wife, Dot Waddell Brinkley of Hartselle; a son, Earl Brinkley (Dewanda) of Hartselle; a daughter, Robin Cole (David) of Madison; two sisters, Shirley Brinkley of Decatur and Pauline Stahley of Naples, Fla.; four grandchildren, Maegan Wagnon (Justin), Isaac Brinkley, Clay Cole and Jake Cole; and one great-grandchild, Wyatt Wagnon.

Pallbearers will be Isaac Brinkley, Clay Cole, Justin Wagnon, David Cole, Max Waddell and Joey Burch.

In lieu of flowers, family requests that memorial donations to the Priceville Volunteer Fire Department at 242 Marco Drive, Decatur, Al. 35603.
