Hartselle City Schools will delay the start of school for two hours Wednesday morning while Morgan County Schools will be closed all day Wednesday.

Students in Hartselle City Schools may be dropped off at the normal time by their parents. Employees should report at the normal time as well.

“Due to forecasted single digit lows and a National Weather Service Wind Chill Advisory, we will have a 2 hour delay in the morning,” School Superintendent Dr. Vic Wilson said in an email Tuesday. “If your commute is dangerous, please use caution and report as soon as it is safe.  We will have breakfast for students who need to come to school at the normal time.”

Morgan County Schools dismissed school early Tuesday afternoon.
