Bethel’s varsity boys season came to a disappointing end, losing in the Final Four of the ACEA State Tournament to Conecuh Springs Christian 61-50.

Bethel was down by two entering the fourth quarter but could never take the lead. Conecuh was led in scoring by Daniel Adams with 18, Joseph Adams with 16 and Khalil Perry with 15.

Bethel was led in scoring by Mitchell Gamble with 21, Clint Chisgar with 16 and Isaac Bunner with nine.

Bethel finished the year with an 11-10 record and will be looking forward to next year with all starters returning for a run at a state title in 2013-2014.
