Funeral for Polly Alice Perry Oden, 75, of Somerville will be Sun., Oct. 30, at 1:30 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Lorie Oden officiating.

Visitation will be Sat., Oct. 29, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Rock Creek Cemetery.

Mrs. Oden died Wed., Oct. 26, 2011, at her residence. She was born Tues., Jan. 7. 1936, in Indiana to Fred Perry and Gwendolyn Taggert Perry. She was a consummate homemaker, welcoming to her extended family and friends, and a loving wife and mother. She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by three sons, Ronald Steven Oden and wife Charla of Rio Grande, Ohio, Arthur M. Oden II and wife Josephine of Norfolk, Va. and Scott Perry Oden and wife Shannon of Somerville; two daughters, Lois Carol DeFlore and husband Michael Jr. of Toney and Sara Lee Neely and husband Chris of Union Grove; a brother, John Perry and wife Carol of Punta Gorda, Fla.; 10 grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and a special animal friend, Boota.

Pallbearers will be grandsons, nephews and sons-in-law.
