Funeral for Temple Viola Barnett Collins, 74, of Hartselle will be Thursday (today), Aug. 11, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. John T. White officiating.
Burial will be in New Friendship Cemetery.
Mrs. Collins died Monday, Aug. 8, at Decatur General Hospital. She was born May 22, 1931 in Morgan County to Zack Barnett and Gracie Key Barnett. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, William Barnett, Jimmy Lyle Barnett and Charles Barnett.
She is survived by four sons, Jerry Frazier of Gurley, Charlie Frazier of Hartselle and Ricky Frazier and Steve Collins, both of Ardmore; five daughters, Dorothy Key of Hartselle, Jeanette Ledbetter and Becky Heimermann, both of Somerville, Carol Craig of Moulton and Diane Lawrence of Danville; six brothers, James Barnett, Zack Barnett, David Barnett, Rebe Barnett, Earl Barnett and Rayburn Barnett; four sisters, Ruth Blocker, Lucille Brown, Helen Bailey and Ann Barnett; 28 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Steven Freeman, Troy Frazier, Daniel Frazier, Terrry Ledbetter, Teddy Ledbetter, Jamie Ward and Eric Ward.
