Hartselle cheerleaders qualify for UCA Nationals

Hartselle High School’s varsity cheerleading squad has been selected to compete at one of the nation’s most prestigious cheerleading competitions, the National High School Cheerleading Championship, produced by the Universal Cheerleaders Association.

UCA is a division of Varsity Spirit – the global leader in cheerleading, dance team and band apparel, camps, and competitions, and a division of Varsity Brands, the market leader in team sports, school spirit, and achievement recognition.

The National High School Cheerleading Championship, set to be held at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at The Walt Disney World Resort Feb. 11-13, 2022, is the pinnacle of cheerleading competitions for high school cheerleaders across the country. The Tigers were invited to compete at the championship after they qualified at the Magic City regional competition this year.

Squad members are Emma Chapman, Aydrian Legree, Sierra Thompson, Maci Odom, Madison Thompson, Olivia Anderson, Tiger Howell, Adelyn LeMay, Lydia Smith, Allie Byrd, Hannah Hall, Hollyn Harden, Shelby Braddock, Analeigh Fansler, Ella Riddle, Hanna Ellis, Margaret Welty, Taylor Barron, Tori Kay, and Eli Terry.
