Lady Tigers earn three victories at Encore Thanksgiving Classic

The Hartselle Lady Tigers battled their way to three wins in the Encore Thanksgiving Classic this past week. They picked up wins of Madison Academy, Gadsden City and Florence to improve to 6-2 on the season.

Hartselle 43, Madison Academy 29

Hartselle held the Lady Mustangs to three points in the first half as the Lady Tigers led 16-3. They extended their lead to 30-12 head into the final quarter before winning 43-29 on Day One of the Encore Thanksgiving Classic.

Gracie Hill scored 14 points to lead the Lady Tigers. Hannah Burks added 12 points.

Hartselle 46, Gadsden City 40

The Lady Tigers led 28-24 at halftime and held on for a 46-40 win over Gadsden City. Hill had 17 points, four rebounds and three steals to lead Hartselle. Burks added 12 points, four rebounds and two blocks, while Sophie Estep had seven points and five rebounds.

Hartselle 54, Florence 46

The Lady Tigers led 29-18 at the half in their 54-46 win over 7A Florence. Burks led three Hartselle players in double digits with 13 points, four steals and two blocks. Mary Frances Itsede had 12 points and eight rebounds, while Anna Hampton Burroughs added 12 points. Hill had eight points and five rebounds.
