Here’s a look at the stat-stuffers in football and volleyball during week one of the 2023 season.

FOOTBALL

Landon Powers, Falkville: Powers had 173 yards passing with two touchdown passes along with 65 yards rushing and two touchdowns in a win over Vinemont

Austyn Holmes, Brewer: Holmes had 102 yards receiving, 29 yards rushing and a touchdown in a win over Hanceville

Ri Fletcher, Hartselle: Fletcher had 75 yards rushing and a touchdown in a loss to Austin

Landon Blackwood, Hartselle: Blackwood had 128 yards passing and one touchdown, along with 50 yards rushing, in a loss to Austin

Blitz Clemons, Priceville: Clemons had 70 yards rushing in a loss to Plainview

Jake England, Priceville: England had 67 yards rushing and two touchdowns in a loss to Plainview

Kole Fitzgerald, Falkville: Fitzgerald had 60 yards receiving and two touchdowns, along with eight tackles, in a win over Vinemont

Noah Lee, Hartselle: Lee had 60 yards receiving and a touchdown in a loss to Austin

Tyde Borden, Priceville: Borden had 11 tackles in a loss at Plainview

Brody Collins, Priceville: Borden had 11 tackles in a loss at Plainview

Cole Miles, Hartselle: Miles had 11 tackles, along with an interception and a forced fumble, in a loss to Austin

Porter Simmons, Hartselle: Simmons had eight tackles with three for loss, a sack and two quarterback hurries in a loss at Austin

Jake Haynes, Hartselle: Haynes had 10 tackles with one for a loss and a quarterback hurry in a loss at Austin

Malachi Collett, Falkville: Collett had 12 tackles along with 40 yards rushing in a win over Vinemont

VOLLEYBALL

Amber Holshouser, Hartselle: Holshouser had 28 assists,18 digs and eight kills in a tri-match split with Athens and Addison and 84 assists, 19 digs, 14 kills and four aces at the Juanita Boddie Tournament

Emily Lacy, Danville: Lacy had 19 total digs in a tri-match split with Geraldine and Guntersville

Abby Langlois, Priceville: Langlois finished with 11 kills and four aces in a tri-match with Madison Academy and Central Florence and 20 kills, four aces and six blocks at the Juanita Boddie Tournament

Ashley Holshouser, Hartselle: Holshouser had 10 kills in a tri-match split with Athens and Addison and 24 kills, 23 digs, and four aces at the Juanita Boddie Tournament

Ashlyn Johnson, Priceville: Johnson had 34 assists, 11 digs and five aces at the Juanita Boddie Tournament

Maddi Kennedy, Priceville: Kennedy had 32 digs at the Juanita Boddie Tournament

Mary Francis Itsede, Hartselle: Itsede had 21 kills, 14 digs and seven aces at the Juanita Boddie Tournament

Brooklyn Stiles, Hartselle: Stiles had 18 digs and eight aces in a tri-match split with Athens and Addison and had 56 digs and seven aces at the Juanita Boddie Tournament

Ellie Cate Hill, Falkville: Hill had 42 assists in a tri-match split with Vinemont and JB Pennington

Abbey Grace Tomlin, Falkville: Tomlin had 14 kills in a tri-match split with Vinemont and JB Pennington

Ella Kyker, Falkville: Kyker had 19 kills and seven blocks in a tri-match split with Vinemont and JB Pennington
