The Morgan County Service Center East License/Tag Office will be closed through May 26 due to staff shortages, according to License Commissioner Kate Terry.  

The East office, located at 62 Guyer Cove Road in the Cotaco community, will reopen May 30 following Memorial Day.  

Morgan residents are urged to visit the county’s other service locations at the Morgan County Courthouse at 302 Lee St. N.E. in Decatur and the Hartselle office at 560 Shull Road N.E. Hours of those offices are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
