“Meet Me at the Lake”
By Carley Fortune

Fern and Will have one incredible day together. That’s all it took. One day exploring the city of Toronto. They make a deal to meet a year later at her family’s resort. Will never shows up. Until, nine years later, Will walks in the front door. Just months after Fern’s mother passes away and Will returns. That cannot be a coincidence.

Will has come to Fern’s resort to help her. But Fern may be the one to be most helpful to Will. It has been nearly a decade and he still knows her better than anyone. They help each other with their past and with their grief. From the author of “Every Summer After,” Carley Fortune has written another wonderful story of love, loss and growth. Check it out at the library.

“Yours Truly”
By Abby Jimenez

Dr. Briana Ortiz is about to finalize her divorce. Her little brother needs a new kidney desperately, and the promotion she is fighting for may go to a man. Her life is not in the direction in which she envisioned it to be. Bri tries to hate the new doctor in town, Dr. Jacob Maddox. She thinks he is trying to steal her job, but when he sends her a letter, everything changes.

Bri and Jacob form a fast friendship through the letters they exchange. That friendship leads to more. She learns from so many others that Jacob is a great guy. What Bri doesn’t know is exactly how wonderful he is until her brother’s health worsens. Jacob selflessly gives Briana’s brother a kidney. Her love for him only grows more. You can find this endearing book by Abby Jimenez at the library or on the Libby app.
