Chloe Holladay, of Hartselle, will serve as captain of the University of Alabama Crimsonettes for the 2023-24 season. 

Holladay said she began twirling baton at a young age and has always dreamed of being a Crimsonette for the Million Dollar Band. 

“There is truly no other feeling like being in Bryant Denny as the Alabama Football team runs out to Thunderstruck,” Holladay said. “One of my favorite memories is twirling in the 2021 National Championship. I am so completely honored to be named a Captain of this team. Being a member is such a privilege and having the opportunity to lead the Alabama Crimsonettes is something I am so excited about.”  

The 21-year-old Hartselle High graduate was recently selected as captain through a multi-step tryout.  

Holladay, who will be a senior this upcoming year and is studying nursing, has twirled with the Crimsonettes for three years. 

Holladay twirled baton and was a majorette at Hartselle High School. She was the team captain her senior year.  

“I have gained so many memories, friendships and opportunities through this prestigious organization, and cannot wait to make more,” she added.  

Holladay is a student ambassador and a member of the Capstone College of Nursing and HOSA. 

She is the daughter of Benjamin and Holly Holladay of Hartselle.
