Morgan County spring clean up dates announced

The Morgan County Spring clean up dates this year will be April 3-15. Everyone participating must provide a copy of your bill where your Morgan County sanitation fees are charged. The landfill hours are Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. and from 7-10:30 a.m. on April 8 and April 15. The address is, 500 Landfill Drive, Trinity. Unacceptable items include shingles, tires, lumber and hazardous materials. No unregistered vehicles will be permitted. Commercial businesses are not allowed to particpate. Brewer High School activities

Brewer High School is pleased to announce the 2023 beauty pageant will be held on March 18. The pageant is hosted by Brewer High School and sponsored by Southern Grace Formals and Events. The deadline for the entry will be March 10 and the pageant is for high school students. The entry fee will be $65 which includes six sides and one photogenic entry . Danville Neel School News

The students at Danville Neel Elementary School will be celebrating Dr. Seuss’s birthday March 6-10. On Monday the students will have silly socks day, Tuesday, they will wear green character outfits, Wednesday, they will have wacky tacky day, on Thursday the students will enjoy hat day and on Friday, they will have pajama day. The dress up days will go along with the following Dr. Seuss books Fox In Socks, Green Eggs And Ham, Wacky Wednesday Cat And the Hat and also Sleep Book.

The staff at Danville Neel School expresses their thanks to Mrs. Griffin for her work with Title 1 funding. Mrs. Griffin does a great job getting school supplies for the upcoming year. However the students will still need a few things such as Kleenex, Clorox and Lysol wipes and paper towels. Danville Neel Elementary School is glad to be able to provide school supplies for the third year in a row through Title 1 funds.
