Baseball, softball teams hit field this week

Baseball and softball teams have waited their turn for the spotlight, and now it is their time.

Hartselle baseball, the defending 6A state champions, take the field for the first time Feb. 17 against Oxford at Vestavia Hills. They will play Chelsea and Mountain Brook on Saturday at Mountain Brook.

Hartselle softball hits the field Friday and Saturday at Vestavia Hills in the Red & Blue Classic.
