Title: “Apples Never Fall”
Author: Liane Moriarty

The Delaney siblings, Amy, Logan, Troy and Brooke, are all mildly concerned by a text they receive from their mother. It says that she is going off-grid, but then the rest is gibberish. Joy Delaney and her husband Stan have been married for fifty years. They had a very successful tennis instruction company that has recently been sold and now it was time for retirement. They don’t really know what to do with themselves, until one night a strange young woman shows up at their door, bleeding. Savannah is allowed to stay “just for the night” but it turns into indefinitely because they are so pleased at the dinners she makes and the life she adds to their empty nest. But the siblings hear warning bells. Something isn’t right about this girl, but Joy won’t listen to anything they have to say about Savannah – until everything blows up. Joy isn’t sure the family will even stay together after secrets come to light. When she doesn’t come home, the siblings are torn about whether to defend their father or condemn him. Where is Joy, and what do Savannah or Stan have to do with it?

Title: “The Fine Print”
Author: Lauren Asher

Rowan Kane is the youngest of three brothers set to inherit the world famous “Dreamland” theme parks and company. Since he was little, all Rowan wanted was to permanently stay at “Dreamland.” Now that his grandfather has passed, he is in the prime position to take over the parks. However, the parks are declining in quality. This is what spurs his decision to promote one of the companies most promising employees after she drunkenly sends him an email. She has a lot of ideas on how to fix the parks. This becomes the biggest decision of his life.

Zahra Gulian is one of the many employees for “Dreamland.” She sees that the company and the theme parks have started to decline without Brady, Rowan’s grandfather. With many ideas on how to fix the problem, Zahra starts drafting proposals for change. Drunkenly, she sends one proposal heavily criticizing the company’s newest and most expensive ride to Rowan directly. Little did she know this would get her a promotion and maybe more.

If you love contemporary romance and The Walt Disney Company, this is the book for you. The setting of the book is heavily based upon the Walt Disney Company; although, it has the twist of the three owners being eligible bachelors. You can find this book on Hoopla as an audiobook.
