Morgan students make JSU Dean, President’s lists

More than 2,500 students have been named to the Dean’s and President’s lists for their outstanding academic performance at Jacksonville State University in Fall 2022.  

Among those recognized for being named to the Dean’s list were Morgan County students, including:  

Mitchell Bryant, Hailey Lee, William Lamar Burgreen, Emma Delaney-Dawn Kelso and Jackson Hall of Decatur; Rachel Veal of Hartselle; Kimberly Ann Hillis of Somerville; Alexandra Grace Brown and Lauren Abigail Starke of Laceys Spring.  

To be named to the Dean’s List, students must earn a 3.5-3.99 GPA for the semester while completing at least 12 GPA hours of course credit. 

Those local students recognized for being named to the President’s List include:  

Ethan Q. Ward and Olivia G. Lyles, Decatur; Lauren Nicole Butler and Andrew Carroll of Eva; Amber Lashae Greer and Kinley Coots of Falkville; Ezekiel James Eubanks, Stevi Drummond Eldred, Caleb Simmons and Walker Scott Young of Hartselle.
