Hartselle man arrested on firearm charges

June, 22 John Ricky Pugh, 68 of Hartselle, was arrested by Hartselle police for possession of a pistol after conviction of a violent crime.
HPD was informed by Alabama pardons and parole officers that Pugh had a firearm at his residence in Hartselle.
Hartselle investigators and Alabama probation officers went to Pugh’s residence and located the firearm. Investigator Ripley Fowler arrested Pugh and he was transported to the Morgan County Jail with a $2,500 bond.
