Registration for tackle football now open

Hartselle Parks and Recreation has opened online registration for tackle football. Registration will be open until July 1. Registration can be completed online at hartselle.recdesk.com.

Participation costs $75 per player, with additional players in the same household costing $65. Uniforms will not be included in the cost.

The age groups are below:

Kindergarten-second: If a player turns 9 before Aug. 1, they must play Third-fourth

Third-fourth: If a player turns 11 before Aug. 1 they must play fifth-sixth

Fifth-sixth: If a player turns 13 before Aug. 1, they cannot play

The division of play is determined by the grade of the player first and then the player’s age.

Important dates for the 2022 season

  • July 25 – Practice begins
  • Aug. 13 – Weigh-Ins (North Park at 10 a.m.)
  • Aug. 20 – Season begins
  • End of October – Season ends
