Danville High baseball launches 2022 fence sign fundraiser

By Martha Jackson

Danville High School baseball needs your support to continue improving facilities and equipment.

To maintain a quality baseball program, they rely on the kindness and generosity of family, friends and local businesses to help support their program and their boys. For the 2022 baseball season, they are selling fence signs that will be posted at their facility.

The signs are 4 feet by 6 feet. The cost is $200 for a new sign and $100 for a renewal.

All contributions go directly to the baseball program and players. Please make checks out to Danville Baseball.

For more information call or text 256-345-5634. The deadline is Feb. 18.

All support is very much appreciated, and all contributions are tax deductible.

Valentines For Seniors

Christy Groves, the activities director at City Center Village, asks our readers to please take some time and send a valentine to a senior. She said it really puts a smile on their faces, whether it be a storebought card or a homemade card. Send cards to City Center Village, C/O Christy Groves, 807 Bank St. NE, Decatur, AL
