Lady Tigers open DOC Classic with 56-26 win over Athens

The Lady Tigers opened the DOC Classic with a resounding 30-point win over Athens. Hartselle scored in double digits every quarter while holding the Lady Golden Eagles to single digits in each quarter.
The Lady Tigers led 20-8 after the first quarter and 30-13 at halftime. They increased their lead to 44-17 following the third quarter.
Masyn Marchbanks scored a game-high 25 points to lead Hartselle. Karleigh Shipley added 13 points, and Gracie Hill had six.
