Lady Bulldogs keep rolling through Class 4A, Area 13

The Priceville Lady Bulldogs picked up two area wins this past week to improve to 3-0 in area play this season. They have won 25 consecutive regular-season area games dating back to the 2017-18 season.  

Counting area tournaments, Priceville has won 32 straight over area opponents. 

Priceville 66, Randolph 19 

Lauren Hames led all scorers with 16 points in the Priceville (8-1, 3-0) victory over Randolph. She finished with three rebounds, four assists and three steals. 

Reagan Watkins added 13 points, three rebounds, four assists and two blocks. Kylie Hendrix had eight points, four rebounds and four steals, while Leslie Hames and Natalie Cartee each finished with seven.  

Madison Deorio had 10 points for Randolph. 

Priceville 69, Westminster Christian 23 

Reagan Watkins scored a career-high 22 points and pulled down five rebounds in Priceville’s rout of Westminster Christian. 

Sisters Lauren and Leslie Hames each had nine points for the Bulldogs. Gracin Prater finished with eight assists and 10 steals. 

OTHER COUNTY ACTION 

Danville 44, East Lawrence 15 

Alyssa Brooks finished with 11 points to lead Danville past East Lawrence. 

Olivia Vest had nine points for the Hawks (2-6, 2-0), while Ella Kate Tidwell added seven. 

Winston County 70, Falkville 46 

The Lady Blue Devils (5-5, 0-1) fell behind early and couldn’t recover in their area loss to Winston County.  

Abbey Grace Tomlin led Falkville with 13 points, and Ella Wallace had eight.  

Makayla Lindsey had a game-high 16 points for Winston County. 

Guntersville 45, Brewer 36 

The Lady Wildcats and the Lady Patriots played an even first half, tied 16-16 at halftime. Guntersville, however, outscored Brewer 29- 20 in the second half for the win. 

Hope West finished with 18 points and seven rebounds to lead Brewer. Lilly Yancey added six points and six rebounds. 

Brewer girls 52, Decatur 38 

Brewer jumped out to a 16-1 first-quarter lead on the way to the 52-38 victory over Decatur. 

West’s double-double, 19 points and 12 rebounds led Brewer. Chloe Romine added nine points and seven rebounds. 

Jayden Stover finished with 12 points and 12 rebounds for Decatur.
