A single-vehicle crash at approximately 3:15 p.m. Sept. 9 has claimed the life of a Hartselle woman.   

Lawanna Lindley Jones, 46, was fatally injured when the 2006 Hummer H3 she was driving left the roadway and struck a tree. She was pronounced deceased at the scene.  

The crash occurred on Shoal Creek Road near Spring Valley Trail Road, approximately three miles south of Priceville.  

Nothing further is available as state troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
