Falkville Color Run coincides with fall festival

The eighth annual Color Me Downtown 5K Run/Walk in Falkville will be held Oct.9 beginning at 8 a.m., coinciding with the 23rd annual Falkville Fall Festival.

The race is sponsored by area businesses and the Town of Falkville. Admission is free, and attendees are invited to bring family and friends to participate.

After the 5K race, music, food and vendors will add to the fun.

Registration forms can be mailed, dropped off or emailed, or participants can also sign up online. To register online visit www.falkville.org

Check-in and day-of registration will begin at 7 a.m. Event T-shirts and color packets can be picked up at the time of check-in.

Late registrations are not guaranteed a T-shirt.

The race will have age divisions for both males and females, and first-place awards will be given in each age division.

Parent or guardian signatures are required for entrants under the age of 18.
