Volleyball Recap: Hartselle sweeps Guntersville

The Hartselle Lady Tigers faced off with the Guntersville for the second time in four days when the Lady Wildcats paid a visit to Hartselle.

The Lady Tigers took the first match 2-0 (25-22, 25-21) on Saturday at the Juanita Boddie Tournament in Hoover.

Hartselle swept the Lady Wildcats on Tuesday 3-0 (25-23, 25-12, 25-22) to move to 3-5.

Megan Lee led Hartselle with 27 assists and 10 digs. Lydia Simmons added 13 kills and three blocks, while Jadyn Chesser had eight kills and eight digs. KJ Jones had 14 digs.

The Lady Tigers will host Decatur, Austin, and Bob Jones on Thursday.

Danville

The Lady Hawks dropped to 3-4 with a straight-set loss to 2A No. 1 Addison 25-14, 25-13 & 25-18.

Faith Parker led Danville with 16 kills, five digs, and two aces.

The Lady Hawks travel to Muscle Shoals on Thursday.

Priceville

The Lady Bulldogs dropped two matches on the road at West Point. The home-standing Lady Warriors defeated Priceville 2-1 (21-25, 25-20, 15-7). In their first match, the Lady Bulldogs fell to Plainview 2-1 (25-20, 18-25, 4-15).

Katelyn Falciani had 26 kills to lead the Lady Bulldogs. Lacey Clark added 12 digs.

Priceville (2-5) will host Good Hope on Thursday.

Brewer

The Lady Patriots traveled to West Morgan for matches with the Lady Rebels and Good Hope. Brewer lost to Good Hope 2-0 (18-25, 22-25) and fell to West Morgan in three sets 25-18, 15-25, 11-15.

Brewer will travel to Fairview for a tri-match with the host Lady Aggies and Hayden on Thursday.
