Trinity woman faces burglary charges

Special to the Enquirer

A Trinity woman has been arrested for burglary after Hartselle Police Department officers identified her as the suspect in surveillance video.

HPD Officer Patrick Edmondson responded to a burglary call on Corsbie Street April 16. Edmondson was shown video of the suspect removing property from the residence, and according to the HPD, the suspect’s vehicle could also be seen in the video.

The following day, Edmondson observed the vehicle while he was patrolling and stopped the vehicle to identify the occupants. Edmondson said he immediately recognized an occupant of the vehicle, Kera Griffin, as the same person he saw on the video.

He arrested Griffin, 25, of Trinity for burglary, third degree. Griffin was given a $2,500 bond and transported to the Morgan County Jail.
