James Arthur Brooks 

Hartselle 

James Arthur Brooks, 81, passed away peacefully Dec. 3 at his residence.  

He is preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Myrtle Brooks, brother Charles Brooks and sister Elizabeth Stewart. 

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Frances Brooks; sister Jo Ann Drake (Harwood Drake); daughter Pam Nicholson; grandchildren Allie Nicholson, Halie Nicholson, Isaac Nicholson, Julie Alexander and Joshua Roberts; and several nieces and nephews. 

The funeral service was held Dec. 6 at Rock Springs Baptist Church at 4 p.m. 

He served in the Army National Guard for nine years. He retired from the Alabama Department of Transportation after 28 years. He then owned Brooks Trucking, where he drove for 22 years, fulfilling his dream of driving under his own company, from which he retired.  

He was a friend to everyone he met, always thinking of others before himself. He deeply loved his family and will be missed greatly. 

Pallbearers were Isaac Nicholson, Wesley Weathers, Peyton Allen, Tim Allen, Greg Allen and Jimmy Weathers. Honorary pallbearers were truck drivers from Whitaker Contracting.

Vera Bradford Rose 

Hatton 

Vera Bradford Rose, 94, of Hatton passed away Dec. 3 at Lauderdale Christian Nursing Home. The funeral service took place at Hatton Church of Christ with Chris Miller, Ben Phillips, and Howell Bigham officiating. Burial took place at Moulton Memory Gardens with Lawrence Funeral Home assisting the family. 

Born on August 14, 1926 to the late Houston and Beula Bradford, Mrs. Vera graduated from Hatton High School in 1945 and she was a longtime member of Hatton Church of Christ. 

Survivors include her daughter, Sandra Terry (Starlon); son, Charles Rose (Shelby); grandchildren, Stacy Rose, Dana Rose Patterson (Jamie), Lana Terry (Jason), Jared Terry (Krisee), and Jennifer Terry Ward (J.R.); great-grandchildren, Chase Rose, Ella Rose, Ben Patterson, Daniell Patterson Hargett (Spencer), Savanna Terry Rutherford (Thomas), Bentley Terry, Jackson Terry (Isabella), Eli Terry, Sydney Ward, Gracie Ward, and Ashton Ward; great great-grandson, Rowan Ward; sisters-in-law, Shirley Rose Brackin, Mildred Bradford, and Lucy Rose. 

Mrs. Vera was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin “Buddy” Rose; parents; brothers, Grady, Gurnia, Aaron, and Braxton Bradford; sisters, Lilliam Harville, Myrtle Thrasher, Lula Rutherford, Flora Smith, her twin sister, Era Peebles, and Etoil Allen. 

Pallbearers were Stacy Rose, Jared Terry, J.R. Ward, Jason Terry, Jamie Patterson, Bentley Terry, Ben Patterson, and Chase Rose. Honorary pallbearers are Jackson Terry, Eli Terry, Ashton Ward, Thomas Rutherford, and Spencer Hargett. 

The family extends special thanks to her sitter, Kay Hallmark and the staff at Lauderdale Christian Nursing Home who had become her family. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hatton Church of Christ Building Fund. 

Tommie Bruce Vest 

Hartselle 

Tommie Bruce Vest, 82 of Hartselle passed away Dec. 7 at Decatur Morgan Hospital. A memorial service will be held at a later date at the Bruce family Cemetery in Dickson, TN. Peck Funeral Home is assisting the family. 

Ms. Vest was born May 15, 1938 in Tennessee to Charles Edward Bruce, Sr. and Bonnie Alma Frazier Bruce. She worked as a RN, most notably for Baptist Hospital in Nashville. 

She is survived by her daughters Julie Vest and Bonnie Thompson (Perry); sisters Mary Lee Mackie, Jane Mott, Betsy Flick, and Frances Unruh; and grandchildren BJ Thompson, Alex Thompson, Randi Thompson, Davey Vest (Mallory), Kenny Thompson, and Tommy Thompson. 

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in her honor to Samaritan’s Purse. 

Odessa Hughes

Graveside service for Ida Odessa Hughes, 99, of Decatur was held Dec. 9 at 2 p.m. at the Mt. Tabor Cemetery with Brother Earl Holt officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.  

Mrs. Hughes, who was born Feb. 26, 1921, in Morgan County to Benjamin Harrison Russell and Temperance Jane Holt Russell, died Dec. 6 at Summerford Nursing Home.  

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 64 years, Richard Marvin Hughes; a daughter, Norma Jean Hughes; a brother, Benjamin Harrison “Benny” Russell; six sisters, Bertha Russell Brown, Essie Russell Anderson, Catherine Russell Lyle, Olean Russell Maxwell, Olga Russell Turman and Eloise Russell Hill; a half-brother, R.V. Russell; and a half-sister, Bobbie Sikes. 

She is survived by two daughters, Demaris Ann Johnson of Hartselle and Janet Smith (Jerry) of Rock Spring, Ga; grandsons Joe Shaw (Sharma) of Hartselle and Jerry B. Smith (Barbara) of Fort Oglethorpe, Ga.; granddaughters Lisa Speegle (Jeff) of Hartselle, Beth Davis (Frank) of Priceville, Alison Milans
(James) of Kennesaw, Ga., and Dana Goolesby of Ringgold, Ga.; 13 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great–grandchildren; and a half-brother, Carl Russell, of Eva. 

Her grandsons and great-grandsons served as pallbearers. 

Billy Joe Whatley 

Falkville 

Billy Joe Whatley gained his wings to heaven Dec. 7 at Summerford Nursing Home, where he had been a long-term resident since March 2017.  

He was born Aug. 7, 1933, to Talmadge William Whatley and Eunice Eudora Hulsey Whatley in Holly Pond. He graduated from Lincoln High School, Lincoln, and attended the University of Alabama. He served his country as a sergeant first class in the Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of Hartselle First Methodist Church for 47 years, serving as a Sunday School teacher, chairman of the board, chairman of the trustee committee and a member of the Chancel Choir and Heritage Choir. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, sisters Macklen W. Cummings and Nan W. Carlson and one brother, Bobby Ray Whatley. 

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Annie Clyde Faulkner Whatley; son Billy Todd Whatley (Patty); daughter Tamra Whatley Medders (Randy), grandchildren Daniel Whatley (Amy), Kelly W. Aldridge (Brett), Patrick Whatley (Katie) and Clayton Whatley (Michelle); great–grandchildren William
Whatley Jr., Andrew Whatley, June Whatley, Jacob Whatley, Kate Aldridge, Luke Aldridge, Benjamin Aldridge, Anna Aldridge, Therese Whatley, Zelie Whatley and Lucy Whatley and his newest great–granddaughter, due in February, Sydney Whatley; brother Dr. Tommy V. Funeral service was held at Hartselle First United Methodist Church Dec. 10 at 1:30 p.m. with Dr. Tommy Whatley, Brother Doug Wells and Brother Bobby Ray Halbrooks officiating, with burial at Burningtree Memorial Gardens. Peck Funeral Home directed.

Fay Gatlin Smith

Fay Gatlin Smith was gathered in the arms of her loving Savior in the early morning of Dec. 8 at the age of 87.  

A Celebration of Life was held Dec. 10 at Somerville Baptist Church with Bro. Ryan Johnson, Bro. Steve Taylor and Bro. Rickey Clemons officiating. Burial followed at Lawrence Cove Cemetery with Peck Funeral Home directing. The family received friends two hours prior to the service.  

Mrs. Smith was born May 7, 1933, in Morgan County to Dotson Glenn Gatlin and Mabel Lewis Gatlin. 

She was a faithful member of Somerville Baptist Church and was loved by many. She blessed many by her friendliness, smile and mostly encouraging words that often lifted that individual more than she realized. She was a wife, mother to four, plus one in heaven, and a grandmother. We all knew she
loved us, a love full of expression and sacrifice, and was always happy to see us.  

If she knew you were coming, there would probably be a cake, pie or banana pudding waiting. Each child received a homemade German chocolate cake for their birthday for many years; it is still a family favorite.  

Mother also had a sense of humor and kept us rolling in laughter on most occasions. All who knew our mother knew she loved flowers, which was evident by the large flower garden and plants adorning the yard. There were never enough, and she was always ready to shop for more. For us, she will live on in every beautiful flower we see. 

In the fall of 2019, our mother surprised us with the plan to accompany two of her daughters on a trip across the pond to Kitwe, Zambia, to visit her granddaughter in the mission field. She loved every part of the long trip and enjoyed the different culture – so much so that, in recent days, she spoke of returning. 

This past May for her 87th birthday, we surprised Mother with a “drive–by birthday celebration.” It was truly a highlight of her life because she told us it was “the best day of my life.” Thank you to all who participated and made the day so special. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bourgeois Eldred Smith; a grandson, Brandon Smith; and siblings, Hoover Gatlin, Maurice Gatlin and Doris Jennings. 

She is survived by a son, Burgess Smith (Angia) of Eva; three daughters, Vanessa Johnson (Rusty) of Moulton and Connie Stinnett (Bobby) and Melanie Schraff (Mike) all of Eva; seven grandchildren, Ryan Johnson (Becki), Rachel Johnson, Jayce Johnson (Marie), Jessica Hughes (Lance), Zachary Johnson, Justin Davis (Michaella) and Michael Schraff Jr.; and seven great-grandchildren. 

Justin Davis, Zachary Johnson, Jayce Johnson, Mikey Schraff, Ryan Johnson and Lance Hughes served as pallbearers. 

Lily Dale Brothers

A graveside funeral service and interment for Lily Dale Brothers, 87, was held Dec. 11 at 1 p.m. at Roselawn Cemetery with the Rev. Rob Hatfield and the Rev. Brian Blass officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. 

Mrs. Brothers died Dec. 8 at River City Center. She was born April 10, 1933, in Morgan County to William John Charles Sr. And Catherine Hosch Charles.  

She was a member of the Central Baptist Church and was a loving mother, grandmother and great–grandmother. She was employed as a beautician until her retirement.  

Preceding her in death were her husband, Wayne Mitchell; her parents; a brother, William John Charles Jr. “Chubby;” and a sister, Cora Lou Street. 

The family wishes to extend special thanks to River City Center, Huntsville Hospital, Dr. Rodney Harney, Amy McGuire and all of her friends who have prayed for her. 

Survivors include two daughters, Teresa Hill (Jeff) and Janet Maner (Stan); one sister, Mary Brown; three grandchildren, Leslie Hamm (Kai), Kristen Butler (Casey) and Elizabeth Lindsey (Taylor); and three great–grandchildren, Lukas Hamm, William Lindsey and Gray Lindsey.

Algie Jones Burks

Mrs. Burks died Dec. 8 at Summerford Nursing Home.
She was born April 28, 1928, in Jefferson County to Bert Tell Jones and Jeffie Ann Collier Jones. She was a homemaker and a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and sister.  

She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Burks; her parents; a son, Mike Burks; two daughters, Linda Burks and Barbara Jones; two brothers, Barney Jones and Walter Jones; a sister, Jean
Brewster; and a grandson, Chris Parker. 

The family wishes to thank the staff of Summerford Nursing Home for the loving care given to Mrs. Burks. 

Survivors include two daughters, Debbie Parker and Sandra Cross (Keith); two sons, Jim Burks (Julie) and Steven Burks; 11 grandchildren; and 19 great–grandchildren.

Joe Ardis Morgan

Funeral service for Joe Ardis Morgan, 78, was held Dec. 11 at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Michael Gunter officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial was in New Center Cemetery. 

Mr. Morgan died Dec. 9 at his residence. He was born Dec. 4, 1942, in Morgan County to Earnest Morgan and Murdy Carnes Morgan. He was a farm worker.  

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mae Morgan; his parents; three brothers, Paul, Ed and Billy Morgan; and two sisters, Elizabeth and Virginia Watkins. 

Survivors include two daughters, Selma Holladay and Stella Brannon; two sons, Charlie Morgan and Kenneth Morgan; two brothers, Frank Morgan and Franklin Morgan; eight grandchildren; and four great–grandchildren.

Jimmie Dell Fields

Graveside service and interment for Jimmie Dell Fields, 92, was held Dec. 11 at 11 a.m. at Friendship Cemetery South of Danville, with Nicky Pressnell officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. The family visited with friends after the service at the cemetery. 

Mrs. Fields died Dec. 9 at Decatur Morgan Hospital. She was born Aug. 8, 1928 in Commerce, Texas, to James Everett Fielding and Odell McGlocklin Fielding. Mrs. Fields was a homemaker and was a member of Hartselle Church of Christ.  

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, J.C. Fields. 

Survivors include one son, Jack Fields (Renee); one brother-in-Law, Don Fields (Jan); one grandson, Jason Fields (Bridget); and one great-granddaughter, Jaycie Leigh Fields. 

The family extends their sincere appreciation to Dr. Allen Schmidt and staff for the wonderful care of Mrs. Fields.

Vicky B. Waddell

Mrs. Waddell died Dec. 9 at her residence. She was born May 29, 1959, in Morgan County to William Eugene Bendall and Blanche Nicholson Bendall. She was a homemaker and a loving mother and MeMe. She was a member of Hillsboro Baptist Church.  

She was preceded in death by her mother, two brothers, one sister and one granddaughter. 

Survivors include her husband, Richard Waddell; three sons, Joshua Eguia, Jesse Eguia (Erica) and Bernabe Eguia; her father, William Eugene Bendall; two brothers, Robert Bendall and Michael Bendall; one sister, Regina Pullum; eight grandchildren; and five great–grandchildren. 

Pallbearers were Joshua Eguia, Jessie Eguia, Bernabe Eguia, Jacob Harris and Dallas Pullum. 

Eddie Groce Hammons 

Somerville 

Eddie Groce Hammons of Somerville, loving husband, father and grandfather, passed away at the age of 87 Dec. 10. 

Eddie was born in Fayette County to Bennie and Ruby Hammons.  

He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Henry Hammons.  

He is survived by his devoted wife of 63 years, Shirley McDonald Hammons; a son, Matt (Carolyn) Hammons; a daughter, Teri (Tom) Windham; and five grandchildren, Houston (Becca) Taylor, Whitney Hammons (Mike O’Sullivan), Travis Taylor, Jordan Hammons (Kalae Harden) and Eddie Austin Taylor. 

Eddie joined the Navy out of high school, where he served on the U.S.S. Wahoo and the U.S.S. Tang from 1951-1955. He earned a degree from Florence State on the G.I. Bill, where he met and married the love of his life. Eddie was a mathematician for the government on Redstone Arsenal and then worked for
Colsa for many years. When he retired, he vowed never to wear a tie another day in his life.  

He was a lifelong member of Center Springs UMC.  

Eddie stayed active all his life on the golf course, the basketball court, the bowling alley and walking with Shirley. He loved riding his motorcycle, and he loved Alabama football. He was known for his dry sense of humor. Eddie was dearly loved by his family and friends and will be greatly missed.

A private graveside service will be held by the family. 

Doris Bell Mitchell 

Hartselle 

Funeral service for Doris Bell Mitchell, 86, was held Dec. 14 at 10 a.m. at Grace Episcopal Church in Cullman with Father Jay Gardner and the Rev. Bob Blackwell officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Her body laid in state for one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial was in Herring Cemetery.  

Mrs. Mitchell died Dec. 10 at Decatur Morgan Hospital. She was born Sept. 27, 1934, in Scottsboro to
Varnell Bell and Billie Grace Thornhill Bell. She was the corporate president for Aqua-Marine Enterprises building safety shelters. She was a member of the Grace Episcopal Church of Cullman.  

Preceding her in death were her parents. 

Survivors include her husband, Robert M. Mitchell; one son, R. Brent Mitchell (Melanie); two brothers, James Bell and Billy Jack Bell; grandchildren Kathryn and Dustin (Josey); and great–grandchildren Mason Olvia and Emily James. 

Donnie Holt 

Hartselle 

A graveside funeral service and interment for Donnie Holt, 58, were held Dec. 12 at 3 p.m. at Pisgah Cemetery with Peck Funeral Home directing.  

Mr. Holt died Dec. 10 at his residence. He was born April 7, 1962, in Hammond, Indiana, to Luther Wayne Holt and Carlene Salters Holt.  

He was a construction worker employed by Robbins & Morton Construction.  

He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include two sisters, Stacey Stephens (Danny) and Karol Tapscott.
Pallbearers were family and friends. 

John D. Kirby 

Falkville 

A graveside funeral service and interment for John D. Kirby, 84, were held Dec. 13 at 3 p.m. at Johnson Chapel Cemetery with Bro. Ralph Henderson officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial was in Johnson Chapel Cemetery.  

Mr. Kirby died Dec. 11 at Decatur Morgan Hospital. He was born Sept. 29, 1936, in Morgan County to Orville Lee Kirby and Lois Chenault Kirby. He was an equipment operator in the construction industry and was a long–time member of the First Baptist Church until his health prevented him from going to church and he moved to Auburn to live.  

He loved his dogs. He was a hard–working businessman and loved Auburn and Alabama football. He loved his grandchildren and his great-grandchildren.  

He was preceded in death by his wife, Katherine Johnson Kirby, and his parents. 

Survivors include one daughter, Kathy Kirby Storey (Todd); two sons, Johnny Kirby and Michael Kirby; two brothers, Randy Kirby and Orbin Kirby; two sisters, Shirley Townsend and Betty Hill; five grandchildren, Lee K. Holze, Lashae K. Cagle, Mallory S. Ulmer, Jamie S. Skipper and Mary Katherine S. Quillin; and five great–grandchildren, Alyse Kirby French, Liam Hotze, Nathan Cagle, Makayla Cagle and Amory Katherine Ulmer. 

Pallbearers were Will Hotze, Liam Hotze, Orbin Kirby, Randy Kirby, Brian Townsend, and Gary Hill. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to the Alzheimer’s Association. 

Rolland Oden

Funeral service for Rolland Oden, 85, of Hartselle, will be held Dec. 20 at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home with the Rev. Dewayne Harper officiating. Burial was at Lawrence Cove Cemetery. Visitation will be Dec. 20 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.  

Mr. Oden died Dec. 12 at his residence.  

He was born Jan. 11, 1935, in Morgan County to Noah Oden and Leeotie Naomi Ward Oden. Mr. Oden was a teacher at Hartselle High School prior to his retirement. 

 He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Arvil Oden. 

Survivors Include one brother, D.H. Oden (Janet), and nieces Dawn Oden Archer (Neal), Traci Oden Way (Kenny) and Brandi Oden Bolan (Chad).  

Pallbearers will be Kenny Way, Neal Archer, Jeff Atkins, Jimmy Brindley, Ryan Miller and Darryll Ford. Honorary pallbearer will be Ronnie Teem. 

Vivian B. Bracken

Graveside service for Vivian B. Bracken, 90, of Hartselle was held Dec. 15 at 1 p.m. at Hartselle Memory Gardens Cemetery with Bro. Ben Bates officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.  

Mrs. Bracken, who was born May 30, 1930, in Morgan County to Odis Odell Blankenship and Novel Beatrice Holloway Blankenship, died Dec. 12 at Huntsville Hospital. She loved her church family at New
Center Baptist Church, where she served as pianist for many years. She loved her family and greatly enjoyed gardening.  

She was a faithful helpmate to her husband, Charles Bracken, who preceded her in death. 

She is survived by a daughter, Jeaneen Dean (Larry); a brother, Loyd Glenn Blankenship (Janice); a sister, Evelyn Shaneyfelt; two grandsons, Patrick Dean (Kelly) and Matthew Dean (April); and four great-grandchildren, Taylor, Amberleigh, Lily and Landon.

Frances Jewel Chandler

Mrs. Chandler, who was born Nov. 4, 1932, in Springville to Jessie Anthony Tucker and Mary Estelle Bodiford Tucker, died Dec. 11 at her home. She was a member of the Community Baptist Church in Cotaco. She loved shopping, was an amazing homemaker and loved to cook. She loved family and was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.  

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Ralph and Robert Tucker. 

She is survived by her husband of 71 years, Ray Chandler; three sons, Steve Chandler (Donna) of Hartselle, Mike Chandler (Cindy) of Somerset, Ky., and Gary Chandler (Theresa) of Hartselle; one daughter, Nona Humfeld (Hans) of Yakama, Wash.; honorary children Jimmy and Pam Galbreath; four sisters, Helen Rogers, Betty Burttram, Ann Jackson and Trish Goad; 12 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.

Kathryne Mary Jones Perkins 

Danville 

A graveside funeral service and interment for Kathryne Mary Jones Perkins, 74, will be Dec. 16 at 11 a.m. at Evergreen Cemetery with Bro. Michael Gunter officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.  

Mrs. Perkins died Dec. 13 at her residence. She was born July 7, 1946, in Jefferson County to Albert McKinley Jones and Ethel Bishop. She was a minister for Antioch UMC for 22 years and also ministered at Evergreen, West End and Faith United Methodist Churches for a total of 34 years in the ministry. She was also a special education teacher for the Morgan County Schools system, serving at Priceville then at Danville until her retirement.  

She was preceded in death by her husband, John (Ace) Perkins; a son, William Perkins; a brother, Billy Joe Jones; and a sister, Anna Laura Mosley. 

Survivors include one son, Johnny Perkins; one brother, Mack Jones; one grandchild, Kayla Terry (Connor); and three great–grandchildren, Charlee, Blakelee and Kate Terry.

Gregory Lance (Gibby) Gibson
Falkville
Funeral service for Gregory Lance (Gibby) Gibson, 22, was held Dec. 14 at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial was in Piney Grove Cemetery. 

Mr. Gibson died Dec. 11 at 1792 Nat Key Road. He was born June 12, 1998, in Morgan County to Tracy Randolph. Gibby was an outgoing, kind soul, loved by many. He had lots of family and many friends.
He was employed by Ryan’s Equipment Company. 

Survivors include his mother, Tracy Randolph; two daughters, Promise London Gibson and
Marilyn Lacey Brooke Gibson; his grandfather, Sherrill (PaPa) Gibson; and one brother, Jonathan Dodd. 

Pallbearers were Jonathan Dodd, Hunter Weaver, Mark Weaver, Jonathan Henderson, Nathan Henderson, William Baker, Nathan and Nick. 

Mary Mayfield Boster
Hartselle 

Mrs. Boster passed away Dec. 11 at Decatur Morgan Hospital. She was born June 16, 1956, in Morgan County to Thermon Leon Mayfield and Margaret Ann Dean Mayfield. She was employed with State Farm Insurance as a secretary prior to her retirement. She was a wonderful wife and mother.  

She was preceded in death by her father. 

Survivors include her husband, Kenneth Boster; her mother, Margaret Dean Mayfield; one son, Tony Boster (Mandee); one daughter, Lauren Maxwell (Cory); two brothers, Jerry Mayfield and Steve Mayfield (Myra); one sister-in-law, Debbie Mayfield; grandchildren Emilee, Brody and Cooper Boster and Caleb, Brayden and Ashlyn Maxwell; aunt, Jean Dean; and a host of nieces and nephews. 

Virginia Lois Roberts 

Hartselle 

Graveside service for Virginia Lois Roberts, 83, of Hartselle will be Dec. 18 at 1 p.m. at Hartselle City Cemetery with Bro. Harold Thompson officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.  

Ms. Roberts passed away Dec. 13 at Summerford Nursing Home. She was born Aug. 5, 1937, in Morgan County to E.R. Roberts and Lois Kracke Roberts.  

Ms. Roberts was the last of the Roberts merchants, and she loved the beach.  

She was preceded in death by her parents, her stepmother who raised her, Buford Kracke Roberts, and brother Hal Roberts.  

Survivors include her sister, Martha Lynn Brown, of Hartselle, niece Lynn Garrison (Randy) of Hartselle; nephew Doug Brown (Linda) of Hoover; five great–nieces and nephews; and three great-great–nieces and nephews.  

Pallbearers will be the family.
