Falkville town employee Bonnie Thompson retires

Bonnie Thompson retired Nov. 20 from the Town of Falkville. She served 10 years as an employee and 16 years as a town council member, Planning Commission member and Cemetery Board member.

Bonnie is pictured with her family, twin sister Connie and Brent Pope and son Alan and Shaquita Thompson.

The Town of Falkville thanks Bonnie for her dedication to and passion for the Town of Falkville and the community over the decades.

Fairview—The Grace Place Church pastor tetires

Fairview—The Grace Place Church pastor and his wife, Milan and Barbara Dekich, have retired after 40 years. Brother Dekich preached a sermon from the pulpit for the last time as pastor Nov. 15.

Church members express their appreciation for the love and light that Milan and Barbara have been to their church family for all these years. You are much loved.

Fairview—The Grace Place Church welcomed new pastor Greg Hill.
