Hartselle Police Department Investigator Tania Burgess is Officer of the Quarter for the third quarter of 2020. Burgess was nominated and selected for her work on the recent capital murder investigation. According to the HPD, there’s no doubt all her hard work has made a difference, but Burgess is reluctant to accept any credit – which is what makes her so special. The HPD called Burgess a humble servant who puts others needs ahead of her own while continuously giving her very best effort to everything she does.
