Traffic stop leads to drug charge

July 2 authorities stopped a vehicle for a tag violation and reported observing meth in plain view. A Morgan County Drug Enforcement Unit agent responded and subsequently arrested Nathan Wade Hayes, 44, for possession of a controlled substance. Hayes was given a $1,000 bond and booked in the Morgan County Jail.
