Funeral service for Tammy Marie England Muzzey, 45, was held June 11 at 2 p.m. at Valhermoso Holiness Church with Bro. Tim Patrick and Bro. Gary Thompson officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial was held in Valhermoso Holiness Cemetery.
Mrs. Muzzey died June 4. She was born Nov. 9, 1974, in Madison County to Roy Delbert Foster and Wanda Carol Thompson. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her father and two brothers, Joshua Benton Teague and Matthew Nelson Teague.
Survivors include her husband, Brandon Muzzey; mother, Wanda Carol Thompson; stepfather, Dwight Selby; two sons, Jordan England and Nathan England; and two daughters, Megan England and Marisa England.
Pallbearers were Ken Selby, Phillip Ballew, Blake Page, Ralf Burgett, Charles Lyon and Mark England.
Shirley Sue Kirby Hornbuckle

Funeral service for Shirley Sue Kirby Hornbuckle, 65, was held June 11 at 1 p.m. at Grace Point Baptist Church with Bro. Jack Bailey officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial was held in Shiloh
Baptist Cemetery.
Ms. Hornbuckle died June 8 at her residence. She was born Oct. 31, 1954, in Morgan County to Nute Kirby and McCellar Lorene Clemons Kirby. She was employed by Fruehauf Corporation as a furnace operator. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother, who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Doyle, James and Buddy Kirby; and two sisters, Joyce Cowart and Rachel Kirby Elliott.
Survivors include son Brandon Hornbuckle (Andrea); three brothers, Bob Kirby (Sharron), Harvey Kirby (Melody) and Charles Kirby (Carlynn); and two grandchildren, Landon Hornbuckle and Makenzie Hornbuckle.
Pallbearers were Landon Hornbuckle, Alan Kirby, Jeff Johnson, Phillip Gurley, Jason Hale and Brian Crow.
William Zane Hodgin

Funeral service for William Zane Hodgin, 18, was held June 11 at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jamie Stewart officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial was held in Oleander Methodist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Hodgin died June 4. He was born Nov. 19, 2001, in Madison County to William Shaddock Hodgin and Enola Parker Hodgin. Zane enjoyed playing video games and anything electronic and liked to play the guitar. He was a student.
Survivors include father Shad Hodgin and mother Enola Parker Hodgin; two half-brothers, Chuckey Jackson and Chase Hodgin; two sisters, Fiona Hodgin and Meadow Hodgin; grandparents William Hodgin (Betty) and Dona Fay Parker; two aunts, Daphne Scroggin and Ivy Newman; and two uncles, Randy Parker and Daryl Parker.
Pamela Loreen Patek

Funeral service for Pamela Loreen Patek, 55, was held June 13 at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Charles Vaughn and the Rev. Phillip Farris officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial was held in Friendship Methodist Church Cemetery in Cullman County.
Mrs. Patek died June 6 at Huntsville Hospital. She was born Jan. 14, 1965, in Illinois to Robert Hayes Sr. and Helen Milligan. She was a homemaker and a wonderful wife and mother.
She was preceded in death by her father and a brother, Robert Hayes Jr.
Survivors include husband Eugene Patek; mother and stepfather, Helen Milligan Gatlin (Jerry); two sons, Paul Westbrook and David Westbrook; and a brother, Richard Hayes.
Jimmy Wayne Burkhalter

Funeral service for Jimmy Wayne Burkhalter, 69, was held June 11 at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Peck Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Burkhalter died June 8 at Huntsville Hospital. He was born Feb. 2, 1951, in Texas to Jimmy Wayne Burkhalter and Jessie Maude Lee Burkhalter. He was employed as a truck driver for Sentinel Trucking Company prior to his retirement. He was a loving father and grandfather and loved to drive trucks.
He was preceded in death by his father; a brother, Joe Burkhalter Jr.; a sister, Janet Burkhalter; and a grandson, Preston Hudgins.
Survivors include wife Debbie Sue Burkhalter; three sons, Brandon Burkhalter (Deanna), Richard Burkhalter and Parker Burkhalter; one stepson, Cody Hudgins (Chelsey); one daughter, Shanna Berrien (Bradley); three stepdaughters, Jessica Franks (Ed), Tiffany Seton and Misty Hudgins; one brother, Jerry Burkhalter; and 18 grandchildren, Kinsley Burkhalter, James Peavy, Brandilynn Burkhalter, Kara Teague, Caleb Teague, Kendall Massey, Rylan Franks, Talan Franks, Tristan Franks, Brennen Weeks, Owin Weeks,

Leslie Jean McAbee Harwell
Trussville
One of God’s beautiful angels, Leslie Jean McAbee Harwell, left this earth to be with her Heavenly Father June 4.
Leslie was a beloved daughter, sister and niece. More importantly, Leslie was a wonderfully devoted mother who loved her children, Cooper and Tristan, more than anything in this world.
Leslie was a person of immense faith, which she lived every day as a member of The Church of the Highlands. Her spirit and personality would light up a room.
Leslie was a 2002 graduate of the University of Alabama and a member of Alpha Omicron Pi sorority. She taught preschool at Vestavia Day School for eight years. She created her own line of jewelry, apparel and art and was currently managing Serendipity in Trussville.
Leslie leaves a legacy of love that impacted countless people. Her giving and lovely spirit made us all want to be a better person. She rooted herself in God’s word, prayed fervently and planted seeds of faith wherever she could.
Leslie is survived by her beautiful children, Cooper Mason Harwell and Tristan Ava Harwell; her mother, Terri Milazzo (Michael); her father, Jack McAbee; her siblings, Alex Milazzo (Jordan), Justin McAbee and Kristian McAbee; her aunts, Debbie Booth (Dennis), Maureen Stewart (David), Glenda Knighten, Patricia Robertson (Mike) and Deborah Ledlow; and uncles Johnny Trimm, Mark Milazzo and Bobby McAbee (Betty).
Pallbearers were Alex Milazzo, Mason Booth, Michael Trimm, Jake Trimm, Justin Mayfield and Bart Mayfield. Honorary pallbearers were Jason Brown, Wes Parker, John Ritcher, Tim Towry and Keith Covington.
A funeral service was held June 12 at 1 p.m. in the Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Peck Funeral Home assisting the family. Burial was held in Falkville City Cemetery.

Gloria Barbara Sharp

Funeral service for Gloria Barbara Sharp, 76, was held June 12 at 4 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Cecil Berry officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial was held in Center Springs Cemetery.
Mrs. Sharp died June 10 at Huntsville Hospital. She was born Dec. 10, 1943, in Jackson County to George Foster Guess and Dessie Austin Guess. She was a faithful Christian lady and a loving wife, mother and grandmother who had a servant’s heart and was a good friend to all.
She loved her dogs and all animals. She enjoyed the outdoors and nature. She was employed as the bookkeeper and office manager for Champion Paper Company prior to her retirement.
Preceding her in death were her beloved husband, Huey Leon Sharp, her parents and two brothers, Alvis and Ardway Guess.
Survivors include two daughters, Ana Marie Franklin and Ami Michelle McCurley; one stepdaughter, Donita Hale (Tony); one stepson, Reggie Sharp (Laura); two sisters, Jewel Lancaster and Bonnie Jordan; two sisters-in-law, Mary Ann Sharp and Sarah Sharp; eight grandchildren; nine great–grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Randy Sharp, Jeremy Hale, Dudley Jordan, James Jordan, Brody Sharp and Leslie Guess. Honorary pallbearers were Ralph Sharp, Leverette Blankenship and William G. “Cotton” Hazelrig.
Thelma Lowella Graber Barnes

A graveside funeral service and interment for Thelma Lowella Graber Barnes, 90, were held June 15 at 11 a.m. at Burningtree Memorial Gardens with Bro. Kevin Free officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Barnes died June 12 at her residence.
She was born Dec. 1, 1929, in California to Harry Lester Graber and Cecil Louise Hickman Graber. She was married Nov. 6, 1948, to her loving husband of 71 years. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, David Barnes.
Survivors include her husband, Bobby Ray Barnes, Hartselle; two sons, James Barnes, Decatur, and Dennis Barnes, Falkville; three daughters, Cathryn Gullion, Decatur, Sandra Taylor, Decatur, and Vickey Locke, Hartselle; 11 grandchildren; 14 great–grandchildren; and two great-great–grandchildren.
Family members serves as pallbearers.
JoAnne Thomas
Decatur
Mrs. JoAnne Thomas, 74, died June 11 at her residence.
She was born March 9, 1946, in Etowah County to George Earl Morrison Sr. and Estelle Naylor Morrison. She was a homemaker and a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother.
Preceding her in death were her parents and two brothers, George Earl Morrison Jr. and Roy Morrison.
Survivors include her husband, Ronald “Ronnie” Thomas; one son, Todd Thomas; one daughter, Karla Kamphouse; and four grandchildren.
She was one of nine siblings.
