Hartselle football to host “The Tiger Ribeye Throwdown” this weekend

The Hartselle Tigers football team will host the “Hartselle Tiger Ribeye Throwdown” on Friday, June 5th and Saturday, June 6th. The event will take place at the Sheriff’s Posse Ground.

“We are so excited about the event and what it will bring to our school and community,” said coach Bryan Moore.  “This event will serve as a fundraiser for our school and benefit the town as a whole. I am so thankful for the incredible support in Hartselle.”

Moore would like to thank the Hartselle Quarterback Club and especially Joe Tankersley for putting this event together.

The event kicks off at 5 pm on Friday and resumes at 2:20 pm on Saturday. The event is open to the public to come and watch the competitions.

Food and drinks will be available during the Saturday event.

This event will be a Steak Cookoff Association competition with awards announced for “Best Steak” on Friday and Saturday. There will also be “Anything on a Stick” and “Kids Pork Chop” awards on Saturday.
