Danny Crowe, the chief financial officer of Decatur–Morgan Hospital, has been named interim president.
Crowe succeeds Nat Richardson, who accepted a position with the University of Maryland Health System.
Jeff Samz, COO of Huntsville Hospital Health System, which operates the Decatur hospital, said Crowe is a 43-year veteran in healthcare, including the past 33 years in Decatur.
“We have the utmost confidence in the leadership of Danny and the entire senior team in Decatur,” Samz added. “During this pandemic, we’ve trusted Danny to help guide Decatur–Morgan Hospital through an unprecedented period.”
Samz said the process of naming a full–time president will begin soon and will include input from the Decatur–Morgan Hospital Advisory Board, medical staff and hospital leadership.
